The way that you can see in this cat's face that this is like catnip to him is absolutely sending us. There is chaos in those eyes. There is mischief and shenanigans and possibly a little madness. You would think that we would be scared, but no, this makes us so happy. We go out of our way all the time to look for things that make them happy, buying them expensive toys and snacks and trees. If it's sitting in a plastic bag for a while and staring at us with crazy eyes that does it, then we are all the happier for it.

We think that some things are part of the human experience. The vast majority of us will never be able to afford those homes, but looking at them online is totally free, and everyone has done it at some point or another. Of course, we have to come up with excuses about why we wouldn't want these houses in the first place, for our own mental well-being, like, “the house is too big” or “everything is too new". At the end of the day, the thing that matters the most is that in a house like that, we would never be able to find our cats in their hiding spots, and that's a good enough reason to never get a house like that.
